Chosen One

 What about freedom? What is your definition of freedom? I wanted to write my idea of freedom and I know it is very complicated and different dimensions should be considered, but in general, for me "freedom" is of the highest value. Values such as justice or security are defined for me subject to it's definition. Of course, these are somewhat equivalent. Without freedom, there is no justice, deprivation of freedom is cruelty! There is no security without freedom! And vice versa! Without security, there is no freedom and without justice, freedom is an illusion. Naturally, we mean equality in individual rights and equality before the law, not equality in property or income. Yet, for many of us on this planet earth, freedom is nothing more than a dream. This kind of mindset and thinking is painful!

 There is a kind of courage that is not hormonal. Innate courage, like jumping from a height, like taking the lead in clearing the enemy's trench, like standing up and speaking in a crowd where everyone is supposed to be listeners, are largely related to hormones, and some people's bodies have a better capacity for them than others. But there is another type of courage that is related to the way of looking at life and it should be called the courage of being. One of my friends who was trying to teach me meditation, said that the ideal state of mastery is that even if you are buried alive in a coffin, you die peacefully, not like a wretched person;I told her that you should say it like this: "You are not your own owner." You have given your body to a series of pre-defined reactions. The purpose of owning yourself is not to rest in peace while being buried alive.  An uproar about the second Trump administration is happening in the academic space that it's being the official beginning of fascism in America. Ordinary people do not pay much attention to these issues. Whether it is communism or fascism or whatever. As in the polls, Trump's popularity has not only not decreased, but has also increased. Isms stay inside universities, until people meet right in front of their own homes. If it were not, the Jews of Europe would have fled much sooner before the Nazi agents would come and separate them in the neighborhoods. People have a habit of only believing that an animal is a wolf when it has already approached them, and has sunken it's teeth into their flesh. So now it is only possible to talk with American academics about this thing, which they think is a dangerous trend.
